Within the framework of the renovation project of the Vilamoura Marina and at the request of the CIMAV (Vilamoura International Marine Club), Lindley has overseen the design, supply and installation of a floating pontoon to support the practice of adapted sailing.
The floating pontoon, belonging to the FARO+ range, with an aluminium structure, incorporates features designed to guarantee accessibility and comfort for users with reduced mobility. These include an additional railing at a height suitable for wheelchair users and an ALEV crane, equipped with a harness and an adapted chair that facilitates the navigator's access to the boat.
Since 2005, Lindley has been involved in the promotion of the Access Class in Portugal, collaborating with several yacht clubs and municipalities to develop infrastructures that allow the practice of adapted sailing. Over the years, the company has perfected specialized solutions that offer sailors with reduced mobility the possibility of being able to fully enjoy this sport.
