New flotation system for a water intake platform in Alvito

As part of the rehabilitation work on the Alvito Water Treatment Plant (ETA), Lindley, through Acciona Agua, has installed a new flotation system for the water intake platform. This project was initiated by Aguas Públicas do Alentejo to improve their previous system, which now consists of approximately 540 meters of flotation lines to support pipes with a floating platform for the intake pumps. Lindley has developed the technical flotation and support solution for the intake pumps and pipes.

The function of the Alvito Water Treatment Plant (ETA), located near the Albergaria dos Fusos Reservoir, is to supply water to the population of the municipalities of Cuba, Alvito, Viana do Alentejo, Vidigueira, and Portel.
