The Island of Tavira, located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park in the Algarve region, now has a new floating infrastructure, replacing the old pier. This new infrastructure consists of four boarding areas: two of them are intended for ferries, a third is for logistical support for the island's services, and finally, one is for water taxis and maritime tourism companies. The driving entities behind this project were the Polis Litoral Ria Formosa Society, the Tavira City Council and Docapesca.

Lindley, as a subcontracted company, has manufactured and installed this set of pontoons from the PFC range, which are made of continuous concrete flotation and adapted to the vessels currently operating on the island. They can be accessed via galvanized and painted steel walkways, which are 20 meters long and 2 meters wide, allowing for comfortable and safe access in any tide condition. Furthermore, they are equipped with electricity and emergency services. This new infrastructure aims to improve access to the island for thousands of people, especially during the summer season.
