The Hotel do Mar in Sesimbra, in Portugal, now has a new dock for recreational boats, located on the west side. It consists of a floating dock made of hot-dip galvanized and painted steel from the Sagres+ range, with a total length of 20 meters and a width of 2.5 meters, with access via a 15x1.5m bridge. This dock is used seasonally, so it is removed at the end of the bathing season or whenever a significant change in sea conditions is anticipated. To mark the pier, an onshore beacon has been installed, equipped with a 2MN lantern and two 150lt buoys placed in the adjacent maneuvering area. The access area to the floating dock is delimited by a metal gate that prevents unauthorized access.
