Lindley has completed the installation of a new breakwater for fishing on Culatra Island (Portugal) after being awarded by Docapesca for the construction and installation of the breakwater. This floating pier, with dimensions of 100x3 meters, aims to "improve the safety conditions for people and goods during the boarding, docking, and access of boats for the fishing community."
This structure is made of concrete, with a galvanized steel reinforcement and an expanded polystyrene core, and a brushed concrete deck, designed for a uniformly distributed overload of 6 kN/m2. Additionally, it is equipped with mooring and boat protection means through rubber fenders and aluminum cleats, as well as the necessary safety and marine aids to navigation.
