Articulated Buoys
- MinBorneo Radius
- 3-8 mFocal Plane
- 10 o Max. Inclination
Articulated buoys are characterized by having a very small borneo radius. They are made by a single tube (which can be segmented according to depth) anchored directly to the concrete block. The tube maintains vertical due to a hull submerged below the waterline. The structure is a segmented SR355JR steel tube, sealed and the underwater body is painted according to IALA recommendations. The hull is made of polyethylene filled with expanded polyurethane, capable of withstanding depths of up to 30 meters.
This model is used for a range of depths from 8 to 50 m.
This buoy design is ideal for marking obstacles, sandbanks or a dredging boundary at a navigable elevation in narrow channels or in the interior of harbours.
