Almarin's RACON unit complies with IMO/IALA requirements, operating in the S and X bands. This racon uses the latest technologies, ensuring minimum consumption for this type of product. Programming and verification is done through a standard interface that can be used with a PC via RS232 port.

RACON is an acronym for RAdar beaCON. It is an active transponder of the maritime radar signal that is used to improve the detection of certain objects, such as beacons or lighthouses, in any weather condition, becoming highly important for marine navigation.
