The Six Senses Douro Valley hotel inaugurates a premium dock for its clients

The Six Senses Douro Valley hotel has commissioned a high-performance custom dock from Lindley, located on the Douro River, as its name suggests. This is a special request from the client to harmonize with the architecture and design of the hotel. The floating infrastructure features a 12-meter access gangway and a 36-meter aluminum dock, all covered with dark bamboo floor that gives it a sophisticated and high-quality look. It also has an embedded LED aluminum lighting system in the floor.

The entire structure stands out in black, including the floats, bollards, fenders... It also includes additional services such as a black pedestal that provides water and electricity, a red emergency tower, and a black-painted stainless steel emergency ladder. Its mooring system is carried out through articulated arms that ensure the installation's safety in the fast-flowing waters of the Douro River. This infrastructure meets all safety conditions, including a marine onshore beacon and a debris deflector.
