Private dock in Castelo do Bode

Lindley provided and installed a private dock in Ferreira do Zêzere, Castelo do Bode, in Portugal. The aluminum pontoon measures 12 meter-long and four meters width, including a 10-meter-long gangway and aluminum fingers for mooring several 6-meter-long boats. It also features two access staircases and an emergency pedestal.

This project stands out for its unique installation, which uses a ground-based connection and support system that allows for vertical and horizontal movement of the installation. Guides through tubes have been added to the pedestrian access stairs, securing the trolley on which a bi-axial pivot is mounted. The client raises and lowers the installation using manual winches to position it correctly according to the water level.
