Marina A Pobra do Caramiñal completes its work to reinforce pontoons and fingers

The Marina of A Pobra do Caramiñal has already completed the works of pile driving and rehabilitation to reinforce its floating pontoons and fingers, due to the area's demanding exposure to rough seas. The work focused on the installation of guide piles at the end of the fingers, in order to reduce the forces transmitted to the docks, resulting in improved operability, safety, and lifespan of the facilities.

Almarin was responsible for carrying out these works with its specialized staff and pile-driving platform, installing a total of 60 metal piles driven, mostly into rock, using a drilling rig.
