Requalification of the Pocinho Pier on the Douro River

Installation of 87 meters of nationally manufactured floating breakwater.

Lindley was the company chosen to carry out the requalification of Pocinho pier on the Douro River. The work concluded at the beginning of the year included the requalification of existing equipment, namely walkways and fingers; the extension of the river quay with the provision of footbridges and fingers of the Faro range with A6005-T6 maritime aluminum structure, thus creating 10 more berths. The site was protected by the installation of 87 meters of nationally manufactured floating breakwater. The work also included the installation of fenders for the fixed concrete quay.
