Lindley has been awarded the contract by the Port Administration of Sines and the Algarve (APS) to carry out the rehabilitation works on the Bartolomeu Dias floating dock and the Ro-Ro Dock at the Port of Portimão, in Portugal. The first intervention, carried out on the Ro-Ro dock, included the anti-corrosion treatment of the entire lower metal surface of the dock and the supply and installation of exotic wood decking covering an approximate area of 180 square meters. The structure has also been equipped with an access ramp for passengers with reduced mobility, improving accessibility and safety conditions for cruise passengers at the dock.

The Bartolomeu Dias dock, located on the Portimão coastline and with a capacity for 70 boats, has also undergone rehabilitation with the replacement of walkways and fingers and an upgrade to most of the existing equipment. Specifically, the work involved replacing the metal structures of the walkways and fingers as well as most of the floats from the original installation. New wood decking was also installed on the walkways and fingers. At the same time, improvements were made to the mooring piles and the access walkway to the floating facility through mechanical treatment and painting. This intervention aimed to extend the service life of the equipment and the original infrastructure previously installed by Lindley. The work was completed last month and has improved access conditions for users of the Bartolomeu Dias dock and cruise passengers at the Ro-Ro dock in the Port of Portimão.
