The 15th of August was marked by the reopening of the renovated Marina do Parque das Nações, in Lisbon. The floating equipment project developed between Marina do Parque das Nações and Lindley encompasses two phases of intervention: the first phase took place this year and provided the marina with 402 berths; the second phase will take place in 2010 and includes the creation of another 200 berths. In addition to the berths arranged on several quays, the parking basin is equipped with an events pier and floating changing rooms, an innovative project conceived from scratch and executed by Lindley.

A reception pier and a fuel pier were installed on the anteport. The equipment selected for this application was our Sagres and Sagres + system, as well as equipment recovered from Expo'98; in all, around 1600 meters of footbridge, 295 fingers, 5 access bridges, 3 access gates with control system will be used, around 95 water and electricity pedestals, and a high level of safety equipment composed by emergency cabinets, 50kg mobile fire extinguishers, ladders, pump for draining black water, used oil reservoir and ecopoints.
