In August 2011, the America's Cup 2011 took place in Baía de Cais. In view of this event, Clube Naval de Cascais felt the need to create a pier to receive the vessels assigned to this regatta and chose Lindley to carry out this installation.

Lindley has used equipment from the Sagres MT range, made of reinforced steel, hot dip galvanized and painted, allowing overloads of up to 2.5kN/m2. The installation  consisted in 2.5m wide and 24m long pontoons, tied together by a system consisting of a 14 x 1.5m access bridge and a 14 x 0.25m reinforced tubular tie rod. The installation's positioning allows for a continuous 24 m external side with 4 m each, making a total of 32 m.
